Wasting the Night

Wasting the Night is a song cycle by Scott Wheeler which sets the poetry of Edna St. Vincent Millay. It was written for a concert of Alea III, on which the songs were premiered by soprano Susan Lambert and pianist Thomas Stumpf. Subsequent performances by: Utah Composers Consortium, Crosscurrents, Amy Lalime with the composer, and Nancy Armstrong with Anthony Tommasini.
