Composer's Note:
Michele Frisch’s father, Bill Antonello played Major League Baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers. As a child, Michele played ball with her father and discovered that she had the gift of baseball in her. The no-girls-allowed policy of baseball re-directed Michelle’s talent into music where she became a professional flautist playing with all the orchestras in the Twin Cities, Minnesota including the Minnesota Orchestra and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra.
“Center Field Girl” is Michele Antonbello Firsch’s ode to the ball player inside her.
