    About

A Massachusetts native and the son of blue collar workers, Lux was not particularly poetic in high school, with friends seeing him as more of an athlete. However, Lux published his first book of poetry shortly after graduating from Emerson College in 1975. Since then, he has won the Guggenheim Fellowship, several grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award.

Lux is a very prolific poet and has already published more than ten volumes of poetry.
