Dana Burnet

Dana Burnet, after earning his law degree at Cornell University in 1911, became a reporter and later a writer of short stories, poems, and plays.

About

A native of Cincinnati, Burnet worked as an editor and contributor to the New York Sun from 1911 to 1918. His collection Poems was published in 1915. Later in life, he moved to Beverly Hills, California, and his screenplay The Great Commandment was made into a film in 1939.
